Background:
Stockholm-based “vibe coding” startup Lovable has been valued at approximately $6.6 billion in its latest funding round, according to two sources familiar with the matter who spoke. The new valuation marks a dramatic jump from the $1.8 billion price tag the company secured following its previous fundraise in July, underscoring its rapid rise as one of Europe’s most valuable technology startups.
The latest round is Lovable’s third in 2025 and caps off a year of exceptional growth for the Swedish company. Sources said U.S. venture capital firm Accel is participating in the round, continuing its backing after investing in Lovable’s earlier fundraise. Accel has become a prominent supporter of fast-growing developer-focused startups and has also backed companies such as Cursor and Thinking Machines, founded by former OpenAI executive Mira Murati.
One source also indicated that Khosla Ventures is taking part in the funding. Lovable, Accel and Khosla Ventures did not respond to requests for comment before publication.
Founded in 2023, Lovable has scaled at a remarkable pace. The company reported $200 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in November, less than a year after crossing $1 million in ARR for the first time. Its July funding round raised $200 million and included investors such as Creandum, Klarna founder Sebastian Siemiatkowski, ElevenLabs founder Mati Staniszewski and Synthesia founder Victor Riparbelli.
Lovable operates in the fast-growing “vibe coding” space, which focuses on enabling users to build software through natural language prompts rather than traditional programming. Its platform leverages models from providers including OpenAI and Anthropic to help users create apps and websites without deep technical knowledge. The company said in November that more than 100,000 projects were being built on its platform every day.
Investor appetite for vibe coding tools has surged globally. In the U.S., Anysphere, the company behind Cursor, raised $2.3 billion in November at a valuation of $29.3 billion. Replit reached a $3 billion valuation in September after raising $250 million, while Vercel closed a $300 million round at a $9.3 billion valuation.
Based in Stockholm, Lovable is expanding its international footprint and is in the process of opening offices in Boston and San Francisco, signaling its ambitions to strengthen its presence in the U.S. market.
