Samsung Introduces Live Translate and AI-Powered Voice Removal on 2025 TVs at CES

Samsung

Prime Highlights:

Samsung brings the incredibly popular feature of real-time translation in smartphones to the smart TVs where closed captions may be translated alive in seven different languages.

Live Translate is coming to the TVs with support for seven languages, having launched on Galaxy S24 in 2024 and supporting 13 languages.

Key Background:

At CES 2025, Samsung announced that it is expanding its widely used Live Translate feature to a line of smart TVs. As a result, this will bring live translation to all live broadcasts. This is a continuation of a feature first established on the Galaxy S24 smartphone series during the early months of the first quarter 2024. Live Translate’s TV edition seeks to present live subtitles translations of content so that viewers can have seamless streaming and viewing of other languages. It will launch to support seven languages, although apparently those seven haven’t been publicized yet. It does not, at present, however, translate the audio of its broadcasts, but it does translate the translation made by the automatic closed captions as a copy.

Live Translate is the feature that most users of Samsung mobile phone and tablets needed to have a real-time text translation facility within all apps. It is going to be how Samsung is going to bridge the gaps in communication through translation. This would consequently make the company’s content accessible to everyone globally. The Live Translate adaptation is available in 13 different languages, although it will have a lesser variant of languages when translated to the television variant but will increase soon.

Besides Live Translate, the company is launching another accessibility feature for the visually impaired, AI-based Voice Removal with Audio Subtitles. This analyzes subtitles in a broadcast, separates voices from other audio elements, and adjusts reading speed to create a smoother, more accessible viewing experience. This new addition shows how much Samsung cares about diverse user needs and improving inclusion within its product offerings.

Both of these features are going to feature in the 2025 models of the TV sets from this company, and there is no official statement related to the availability of compatibility for earlier versions of the TV model. Continuing further with the perfection of smart capabilities on the television set, such innovations will mark a testimony for its effort toward developing intelligent technologies in order to offer a smooth, accessible experience. Live Translate and AI-based Voice Removal are two key innovations from Samsung at CES 2025, designed to enhance user accessibility and improve international viewing experiences.
